The company needs to acquire customers on the Bank’s DiamondXtra USSD channel for customers in Nigeria.

Solution

The solution proferred was customer acquisition campaign via targeted SMS.

This was done through the Terragon Enterprise CDP; our enterprise software that aggregates, unifies, enriches and activates customer first-party data for large enterprises.

Approach

STEP 1

Custom Audience creation based on the Client’s Identified target audience.

STEP 2

Segmentation of customer profiles matching this target audience.

STEP 3

Machine learning (ML) model creation further qualified the segmented profiles, identifying profiles with the highest propensity to take up the Bank’s offer.

STEP 4

Activation via offline marketing channels, i.e., SMS were leveraged to easily access those individuals; Offline matching of customer journey was done and customers were sent relevant messages based on their progress on the Bank’s USSD channel.

STEP 5

Feedback Loop capability enabled continuous campaign performance optimisation performance through the ingestion of additional insights added to the ML model, based on customer interaction with each message.
