Amaka Odunze is passionate about unlocking the potentials of brand building and consumer psychology to generate sustainable business results.
A seasoned brand strategist and marketing professional with 10 diverse years of experience, Amaka has earned increased leadership roles across the marketing and communications spectrum. Over the years, she has honed her strategic thinking capabilities and gained a problem-solving outlook with experience across various industries – management consulting, advertising, business education and financial services.
Currently serving as the Marketing and Corporate Communications lead at Terragon, where she leads all marketing, brand and communications projects, Amaka joins the company from Lagos business School were she successfully managed the institution’s brand and communications. She has also led market intelligence projects, business development pitches as well as managed brand campaigns for global brands across Africa and the Middle-East.
Amaka began her career as a Business Analyst in the consulting arm of Akintola Williams Deloitte. She has an MBA, from Lagos Business School, and a first degree in Economics. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and an Independent Council Member at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group), Texas, USA.
