The objective of this campaign was to prompt the customers, drive footfall and provide direction to the nearest branch to them.

BACKGROUND

Zenith bank is a multinational financial service provider based in Nigeria,  established in May 1990 and commenced banking operations in July of the same year. It is licensed as a commercial bank, by the Central bank of Nigeria, the Central bank and national banking regulator. It is a Tier 1 bank With a total asset of 4,739,825 million and shareholders’ equity of 616,353 million as at 31st of December, 2017. Zenith bank got customers to open accounts on mobile nationwide but needed them to complete the process by doing a physical KYC in one of their branches. They needed to prompt the customers, drive footfall and provide direction to the nearest branch to them.

OUR SOLUTION

Terragon Group partnered with Zenith Bank to implement the following solutions. Targeted SMS was sent to the customers, knowing their location, the name of the branch they were required to visit was clearly stated in the message. A google map link was embedded in message for smart phone users to provide direction to the required branch. Personalised messages were sent in indigenous languages based on location. RESULT

We were able to reach 2,096 people nationwide within a two (2) weeks period 54 account activations were recorded based on the campaign. 2.6% success ratio recorded.
