Background

Wema bank unveiled Alat, Nigeria’s first digital bank app, into the market in 2017. The objective of this campaign was to drive downloads and sign ups for Wema’s ALAT digital bank across web and non-web channels.

The target audience was aged 18 – 35 male and females in Lagos.

Our Solution

We deployed web (in-app) & non-web (Targeted SMS) ads to reach the target audience outlined above. The web channels used include pre-installed apps on Tecno & Infinix devices.

Result

  • CTR: 6.6%
  • 3,600 accounts opened in 48 hours
