Guy-Bertrand joined Terragon Group in April 2017 as CFO and Head of Finance & Strategy.

He has over 10 years of experience across investment banking, financial advisory, M&A, structured financing and consulting. He started his career in FX and money market treasury at Credit Mutuel-CIC in Paris before moving to coverage and then M&A at Natixis. In 2008, Guy-Bertrand returned to Africa where he joined the corporate banking team of Standard Chartered in Cameroon, primarily providing structured funding solutions to wholesale banking clients. He soon joined the bank’s corporate advisory & finance team in London where he advised on numerous project financing, leveraged & acquisition financing, debt capital market and M&A transactions across Africa, covering various sectors including telecom, power, financials services, etc.

In 2013, Guy-Bertrand joined PwC in Lagos to launch their West African corporate finance practice. He then founded a West Africa-focused financial advisory and strategy consulting firm, providing strategic, structuring and capital raising advisory services to fast growing mid-market companies in the region seeking to execute on their growth strategies.

Guy-Bertrand holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Douala. He is currently enrolled in the joint EMBA programme of London and Columbia Business Schools.
